About MoneyCalc
69 free personal finance calculators, no account required.
What this site is
MoneyCalc is a set of 69 small calculators for the money questions people actually ask: what a mortgage payment will be, how long to clear a credit card, how compound interest grows a savings pot, how much to save for retirement, what a salary really pays per hour, and what a purchase really costs. Each one does a single job, loads instantly, and needs no sign-up, email or app install.
How the numbers are produced
Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser. When you type a loan amount or a salary, that value is processed by JavaScript on your own device. It is never sent to a server, because no server does the calculating. You can disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the calculators keep working.
That matters with money data. An income, a debt balance or a savings figure is sensitive information, and here it never leaves your computer — it cannot be logged, stored or sold, because it is never transmitted in the first place.
Where the formulas come from
Each calculator uses a standard, published formula rather than an invented one — for example the amortisation formula for loan payments, the compound-interest formula for savings growth, and the debt-to-income ratio lenders commonly apply. The page under each tool explains what that formula is, which inputs it needs, and where it stops being reliable.
We also tell you the limits. A projection is not a promise: markets fluctuate, rates change, fees and taxes chip away at returns, and inflation erodes what a balance can buy. Treat every result as an informed starting point, then check it against your own real numbers.
Not financial advice
MoneyCalc provides general information for education and curiosity. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace guidance from an adviser, accountant or lender who knows your circumstances. Do not use these calculators to make irreversible decisions about borrowing, investing or retirement. See our full disclaimer.
Why it is free
The site is supported by advertising. Advertising is loaded only after you agree to it through the cookie banner, and the tools work exactly the same if you decline. We keep ads out of the working area of each calculator so they never interrupt what you are doing.
